Product Overview

The 1394-SR9A is an external passive shunt resistor module for Allen-Bradley Kinetix 6000 (Bulletin 1394) drive systems. Designed to supplement or exceed the internal shunt resistor capacity when internal modules cannot dissipate sufficient braking energy, the 1394-SR9A provides continuous dissipation of up to 300 W. It is typically mounted externally and used in motion control applications to safely dissipate regenerative energy. As of December 31, 2025, this module is officially discontinued by Rockwell Automation and no direct replacement is planned.
