PLC Department has a 30-day return policy. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately, we can't offer you a refund or an exchange.
Order Cancellation Policy: In the event that you no longer require the part or need to cancel your order prior to shipment, we kindly request your attention to the following terms. A processing fee up to 15% may be applied to the order to cover transaction fees and restocking cost.
Please be sure to get an RMA message to us via chat or our contact form before sending an item back for an exchange or refund by submitting a request to contact@plcdepartment.com. In the message you must provide your order number.
Once we send the RMA message you must follow these three steps:
- Ship back the item(s) in the same condition it was received in.
- Ship back the exact item that you received. NOTE: Records and serial numbers are kept.
- Ship the return/exchange to the address provided in the email.
- Provide a tracking number within two business day of the RMA being sent.
If these are not followed correctly your return/exchange will be rejected.
Some orders are subject to a 15% restocking fee. You may submit a return for an exchange within 30 days only if it meets one of the reason codes below.

A = Missing Parts
B = Not as Described
C = Defective Item
D = Shipping Error
E = Unauthorized Purchase
F = Received Wrong Item (An item you did not purchase)
Please note shipping charges are never refunded under any circumstances.
Refunds:
In order to receive a refund, we must first receive the item you wish to receive a refund for. Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email within one week to notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If the refund is approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within one week. It may take longer for the refund to appear in your account once a refund is issued.
Late or missing refunds:
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. Next, contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted. If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at contact@plcdepartment.com.
Shipping:
Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer. To return your product, you should mail your product to the address we provide upon submitting the RMA. You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item unless the items meet one of the reason codes.
Warranty:
PLC Department issues a 1-year warranty for all its products, which begins from the date of purchase. This warranty covers mechanical defects or failures not caused by human factors, including but not limited to incorrect installation, operating the unit under unfavorable conditions or in scenarios not recommended by the manufacturer, poor maintenance, etc. However, the warranty does not extend to programming or software-related issues.
This warranty also does not cover products that were installed or used for troubleshooting or diagnostic purposes where the issue was later determined to be unrelated to the unit itself. Once a product has been installed or powered for testing, it is considered used and not eligible for return-for-credit under any circumstance.
If a customer encounters a problem with their eligible product and wants to take advantage of the PLC Department's warranty coverage, they will need to ship the item to PLC Department for examination and diagnosis. If the issue was caused by human factors, PLC Department will provide a repair or replacement quote and the customer will be responsible for the shipping costs for the repaired/replaced unit. If the issue was not caused by human factors and falls within the warranty coverage, PLC Department will repair or replace the unit at their expense and will bear the shipping costs of sending the repaired/replaced unit back to the customer. The decision to repair, replace, or refund is at the discretion of PLC Department. Please note that diagnoses may take time based on technician availability and the complexity of the diagnosis.
PLC Department will not be liable for any damages, except actual damages up to but not exceeding the amount paid for the product, and will not be responsible for any indirect or consequential damages or lost profits, regardless of whether they have been advised of such damages.
