Product Overview

The 1609-EXBAT is an external battery pack accessory designed for use with Allen-Bradley Bulletin 1609 industrial uninterruptible power supplies (UPS). It provides additional runtime by housing six 12 V batteries (not included) for extended backup capacity. The unit mounts via heavy-duty DIN-rail or optional bracket (panel or floor). It connects to the UPS using three 10 AWG wires to the 36 V 'External Batt Pack' terminals, enabling scalable power support in industrial environments.
