Product Overview

The 1719-IBN8 is an Allen-Bradley Bulletin 1719 Ex I/O intrinsically safe distributed digital input module featuring eight NAMUR-compatible input channels. It mounts in Zone 2/Class I, Division 2 hazardous areas via the 1719 Ex I/O chassis and connects through the backplane bus. It detects open and short-circuit line faults and supports hot-swap when the area is nonhazardous. Typical applications include chemical, oil & gas, and process industries interfacing NAMUR sensors in hazardous zones.
