Product Overview
The 1719-IR4B is an Allen-Bradley Bulletin 1719 Ex I/O 4-channel RTD input module designed for intrinsically safe hazardous-area installations. As part of the 1719 Ex I/O platform, it resides in a chassis connected via EtherNet/IP and provides four RTD (resistance thermometer) measurement channels. The module enables field-level RTD signal acquisition from hazardous zones and integrates into centralized control systems such as Studio 5000-configured architectures. 1719-IR4B operates in Zone 2/Class I, Div 2 environments and typically applies in process industries, oil-and-gas, or chemical control cabinets.
