Product Overview

The Allen-Bradley 1738-AENT is an ArmorPoint EtherNet/IP communication adapter (Series A) designed to interface ArmorPoint I/O modules to EtherNet/IP networks. It provides an M12 quick-disconnect EtherNet/IP port and field-side power interface. In a control system, it functions as the network gateway for distributed IP-rated I/O modules in harsh environments, such as on-machine or wash-down applications. 1738-AENT enables modular, IP-rated I/O deployment while maintaining network communications through standard EtherNet/IP infrastructure.
