Product Overview

The Allen-Bradley 1746-BAS-T is a BASIC-T communication module within the SLC 500 family. It occupies a single slot in any 1746 chassis and provides serial and network communications, program/data storage, and clock/calendar functions. It enables RS-232/423, RS-422, RS-485, and DH-485 connectivity for programming, HMI, modem, printer, and data-collection interface, and includes battery-backed RAM plus optional nonvolatile memory support, typically used for on-machine control, data logging, and field communications.
