Product Overview

The 1753-IB20XOB8 is an Allen-Bradley GuardPLC series distributed digital input/output module that provides 20 safety-related digital inputs and 8 digital outputs over a GuardPLC Ethernet network. It mounts on DIN rail within industrial control enclosures, integrates via dual 10/100Base-T RJ45 ports acting as an internal Ethernet switch, and interfaces directly with GuardPLC controllers. It is typically applied in safety system expansion where modular, network-connected I/O is required for emergency stops, safety interlocks, or machine guarding functions.
