Product Overview

The 5069-SERIAL is an Allen-Bradley Compact 5000 serial interface module providing two serial communication channels (RS-232C/RS-422 full-duplex and RS-485 half-duplex) for CompactLogix PAC systems. Installed on the 5069 I/O backplane, it enables integration of serial devices such as barcode readers, scales, or custom instrumentation into EtherNet/IP control systems. The 5069-SERIAL routes serial data to the controller across the backplane while drawing module (MOD) power and optionally passing through system (SA) power.
