Product Overview

The 1756-HSC is an Allen-Bradley ControlLogix High-Speed Counter module that provides two independent counter channels with four configurable outputs. It occupies one backplane slot in a ControlLogix chassis and is designed to process high-speed pulse, frequency, and quadrature encoder inputs, delivering accumulated count or rate information to the controller. Typical applications include motion tracking, rapid machine cycle monitoring, and encoder-based positioning.
