Product Overview

The 1756-L82ES is an Allen-Bradley GuardLogix 5580 safety controller in the ControlLogix 5580 family. It provides both standard and safety control tasks and functions as the decision-making core in safety-certified industrial systems. It includes onboard memory (5 MB standard plus 2.5 MB safety), a single gigabit Ethernet port, and a USB port for programming and configuration. It supports up to 175 EtherNet/IP nodes and displays status on a 4-character alphanumeric display.
