Product Overview

The Allen-Bradley 1756-RM2 is a ControlLogix Redundancy Enhanced Module used in redundant dual-controller systems. It provides fiber-optic communication channels to synchronize primary and secondary controllers and manage switchover. The module installs in a ControlLogix chassis alongside controllers such as the 1756-L73/L74/L75, and is used in industrial process control, safety-critical systems, and high-availability automation applications.
