Product Overview
The 1783-ETAP is a 3-port EtherNet/IP tap module within the Allen-Bradley Stratix/Embedded Switch Technology family. It mounts on DIN-rail and provides unmanaged Ethernet tap functionality, enabling passive network monitoring without disrupting traffic. It accepts 24 V DC power and serves in industrial control systems for Ethernet diagnostics, troubleshooting, or passive monitoring.
