Product Overview
The 1783-RMS10T is an Allen-Bradley Stratix 8300 Series managed Ethernet switch module that provides layer-3 routing capabilities for industrial control systems. It houses ten ports-eight standard 10/100 copper and two dual-purpose uplink ports that can accept either 10/100/1000 copper or SFP fiber modules. Designed for cabinet mounting in automation networks, it facilitates network segmentation, routing, and high-precision synchronization via CIP Sync for time-critical applications, such as diagnostic event timestamping and motion control.
