Product Overview

The Allen-Bradley 2090-SR040-09 is an external passive shunt resistor module within the Kinetix/Ultra-3000 line. It provides additional dissipation capacity when a drive's internal shunt is exceeded, specifically for Ultra-3000 servo drive systems. The 2090-SR040-09 offers 40 Ω resistance, supports a peak power rating of 16 kW, and a peak current up to 20 A, providing a reliable means to offload regenerative energy during deceleration or braking events. Typically employed in high-inertia servomotor applications.
