Product Overview

The 20-COMM-D is an Allen-Bradley DeviceNet communication adapter designed for integration with the PowerFlex drive family. It mounts into compatible PowerFlex drives (such as 70, 700, 700S, 700L, 750, and Digital AC drives) or the external DPI communications kits to provide DeviceNet network connectivity. The device facilitates messaging, I/O data exchange, and peer-to-peer communication via DeviceNet protocol within industrial motor control systems. 20-COMM-D is a field-installable module that enables existing drive platforms to participate in DeviceNet networks for distributed control and diagnostics.
