Product Overview

The 150-C25NBD is an Allen-Bradley SMC-3 series soft motor controller (soft starter) for open-type installation. It regulates start/stop of three-phase motors by providing selectable current limit, overload trip classes, soft stop, and kick-start features. It is used in industrial motor control panels to reduce mechanical and electrical stress during start-up of motors in pump, conveyor, and fan applications. Typical use includes ramping up motors rated for delta connection up to about 22 kW or 20 HP at 460 V AC.
