Product Overview
The 1746-NI8 is an analog input module for Allen-Bradley SLC 500 programmable logic controllers. It provides eight isolated analog input channels capable of sensing ±10 V or ±20 mA signals, and integrates into any SLC 500 I/O chassis slot (excluding slot 0). The module performs on-board A/D conversion using successive approximation with programmable digital low-pass filtering and continuous autocalibration. Typical industrial applications include process monitoring, analog sensor data acquisition, and integration of field instrumentation into SLC 500 control systems.
