Product Overview
The Allen-Bradley 1746-NT8 is an SLC 500 thermocouple/millivolt analog input module providing eight isolated analog input channels for thermocouple types J, K, T, E, S, R, B, N and ±50 mV/±100 mV signals. Designed for use in SLC 500 racks (not slot 0), it performs analog-to-digital conversion via sigma-delta modulation with configurable low-pass filtering and open-circuit detection. It includes cold-junction compensation and interfaces directly with SLC 5/01-5/05 processors. 1746-NT8 supports industrial temperature measurement and process monitoring applications.
