Product Overview

The 1761-NET-ENI is an Allen-Bradley Ethernet/IP communication interface module in the MicroLogix/ENI family. It converts serial DF1 full-duplex communications (via isolated RS-232 mini-DIN) from MicroLogix, CompactLogix, SLC-500, PLC-5 or other DF1-capable controllers to Ethernet/IP, enabling integration into Ethernet networks. It provides Ethernet connectivity, network diagnostics via built-in LEDs and a diagnostic web page, and supports features like SMTP email alerts and DHCP/BOOTP. The module is discontinued (as of June 30, 2017) but remains in service for legacy systems.
