Product Overview

The Allen-Bradley 1771-QB is a linear positioning module in the PLC-5 family, designed to be installed in a single slot of a 1771 Universal I/O chassis. It provides two independent hydraulic or servo control axes with a 2 ms per-axis update rate, enabling closed-loop control via PID and feed-forward algorithms. The module interfaces directly with linear displacement transducers and servo valves to implement position, velocity, and hydraulic control tasks.
