Product Overview

The 1786-RPFM is an Allen-Bradley ControlNet Medium-Distance Fiber Repeater Module designed for ControlNet networks. It functions as a modular repeater that converts ControlNet coaxial segments to fiber optic media, extending communication up to approximately 3 km. It installs via the 1786-RPA repeater adapter and supports star, ring, trunk, point-to-point, and linear topologies, enhancing immunity to EMI and enabling installation in electrically noisy or hazardous locations. Classified as IP20, it supports panel or DIN-rail mounting. Part number 1786-RPFM is discontinued as of December 30, 2025.
