Product Overview

The Omron CP1W-MAD11 is an analog I/O expansion unit for the CP1 series of compact Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs). It provides two analog inputs and one analog output, handling both voltage (0-5 V, 1-5 V, 0-10 V, ±10 V) and current (0-20 mA, 4-20 mA) signals. Conversion is 16-bit binary, with full-scale hexadecimal ranges defined. Precision is specified at 0.3 % full scale (25 °C) for inputs and 0.4 % for output. Typical use involves signal conditioning and analog interfacing within mid-range automation or control systems. CP1W-MAD11 integrates via rack expansion for CP1E/CP1L/CP1H CPUs, supporting averaging functions via DIP switch.
