Product Overview
The 1771-NT2 is an Allen-Bradley N-Series thermocouple input module designed for the PLC-5 (Bulletin 1771) analog I/O platform. It provides eight isolated input channels, each capable of reading a range from -5 mV to +55 mV and supporting thermocouple types B, C, E, J, K, N, R, S, and T. The module performs cold-junction compensation, scales readings to engineering units, and includes diagnostic features like open-circuit detection, alarms, and digital filtering. It mounts in a standard 1771 universal I/O chassis and interfaces via Remote Termination Panel (RTP).
