Product Overview
The 6DD1611-0AD0 is a Siemens SIMADYN D coupling memory module ("MM11"). It provides buffered data memory (2 × 64 Kbytes RAM) for communication between multiple CPU modules in the same subrack via L-Bus and C-Bus. This module must be inserted between the first and second CPU in applications where CPUs exchange data-such as via project-configured connections or shared serial interfaces in CS7 environments. Data retention during power loss is managed on the subrack level, not the module.
