Product Overview

The 6ES7131-7RF00-0AB0 is a Siemens SIMATIC ET 200 iSP electronic I/O module providing eight NAMUR digital inputs. It evaluates NAMUR sensor signals in intrinsically safe (Ex ib) hazardous-area environments (gas IIC, dust IIIC, mining I) and interfaces these inputs to a backplane bus. Designed for distributed control systems, this module fits rail-mounted or front-mounted assemblies and supports applications where signal integrity and safety in hazardous zones are required. Typical uses include chemical, petrochemical, and mining control systems where NAMUR sensors are employed in explosive atmospheres.
