The Siemens SIMATIC DP ET 200M Interface Module IM 153-2 (MLFB 6ES7153-2BA00-0XB0) is a PROFIBUS DP interface module designed for distributed I/O in ET 200M systems. It connects up to eight S7-300 I/O modules, supports redundant configurations, timestamping, and isochronous mode operation for synchronized control tasks. Although the module is discontinued as of October 1, 2011, it remains relevant for legacy ET 200M installations requiring PROFIBUS DP connectivity.
