Product Overview

The 6ES7157-0AC85-0XA0 is a Siemens Field Device Coupler FDC 157 module in the SIMATIC FF Link product family. It provides a physical interface between a PROFIBUS DP backbone and PROFIBUS PA or FOUNDATION Fieldbus H1 devices. The module includes an integrated fieldbus power supply (up to 1 A, with redundancy capability) and diagnostic LEDs. It occupies a standard 80 mm width and mounts on the DP backplane in distributed automation systems-commonly used in process automation to bridge DP main bus to PA/H1 field segments.
