Product Overview
Siemens 6ES7157-0AG82-0XA0 is an AFD8 active field distributor for PROFIBUS PA and FOUNDATION Fieldbus H1 networks. It provides eight short-circuit-proof spur lines with bounce-protection logic and automatic bus termination, supporting line and ring topologies in extended temperature environments. The device draws power from the bus (no auxiliary supply) and delivers spur-line power to field devices, serving to distribute and condition fieldbus signals and power in process automation and hazardous area installations. Its IP66 enclosure permits installation in harsh industrial environments.
