Product Overview

The Siemens SIMATIC PN/PN Coupler 6ES7158-3AD10-0XA0 is a fieldbus gateway that enables deterministic data exchange between up to four PROFINET-controller subnets or from subnet to subnet. It also supports PROFIsafe data exchange and communication of I/O data, data records, MSI and MSO messages. The module supports redundant power supply using SIMATIC BusAdapters (not included) and integrates with STEP 7/TIA Portal for configuration. Typical applications include inter-subnet bridging in distributed control systems, safety data exchange, and data logging in industrial automation.
