Product Overview

The 1738-AENTR is an ArmorPoint I/O dual-port EtherNet/IP communication adapter in the Allen-Bradley ArmorPoint platform. It provides field-side power and network interfacing for ArmorPoint I/O modules via two M12 EtherNet/IP ports (embedded switch). It serves as the network gateway and power distribution point in on-machine or harsh-environment control systems, commonly used in discrete manufacturing and mobile or food & beverage processing where sealed, IP-rated devices are required. 1738-AENTR integrates communication and backplane current delivery in a compact package.
