Product Overview

The 1753-L28BBBM is an Allen-Bradley GuardPLC 1600-series safety CPU with integrated discrete I/O and Modbus communication for machine safety control. It functions as a fail-safe programmable controller, combining 20 non-isolated digital inputs and 8 non-isolated digital outputs with built-in safety and watchdog timers. Typically used in safety applications where Modbus integration is required-for example, in guard interlock systems, safety zone controllers, or emergency stop networks-1753-L28BBBM manages safety logic and provides field I/O for localized safety control. 1753-L28BBBM integrates safety timing functions with direct I/O, simplifying cabinet layout.
