Product Overview

The XPSUAF13AP is a Schneider Electric Preventa Universal (XPSU) safety module, Cat. 4, designed for monitoring safety inputs-such as emergency stop buttons, guard switches, light curtains, magnetic or proximity safety switches, PNP sensors or RFID safety devices-within machine control systems. It provides dual-channel safety input monitoring with configurable safety outputs and selectable function via front rotary switches. The module supports functional safety up to PLe (ISO 13849-1), SILCL 3 (IEC 62061), and SIL 3 (IEC 61508). XPSUAF13AP is used for machine-level safety integration where a standalone safety relay is required.
